Symptoms of Anchor Worm Disease

• Tiny white or green or red worms found over the body and base of the fin

• Redness around the anchor point,

• Ulcers can appear at the anchor point

• Inflammation in the body,

• Difficulties in breathing

• General lethargy ,

• Rubbing (flashing) against objects

• Increased respiration rates and fish seem to “gasp” air at the surface of the water.

• Increased mucous production.

• Secondary infections
